FAQ

  • What type of plastic is the BudHub manufactured with?
Polypropylene: RP250 – applications include reusable food containers and houseware items.
  • Is it Recyclable?
    Yes!
  • Have you performed any testing to check if it is really water-proof?
No scientific testing, but inserted tissue into the flower chamber and secured them to the bottom of a fish tank for 48 hours without leaking. I also left a dozen float in the fish tank over the same time frame. No leaks were found.
  • Is there any special care required?
Yes. Occasionally flower shake will become lodged in the figure 8 racetrack on the inside of the lid. Keep this clean to insure you will have a good seal between the lid and BudHub body. Another thing to keep in mind is there is a molded channel in the center between the bat tube and the flower tube that holds the cleaning cane. This channel locks around the cane to help prevent any flower from transferring into the bat tube. You will not get a good seal unless you make sure the cane is in the channel. Occasionally, the tube for the bat will become dirty with resign from the bat. Use kosher salt and isopropyl alcohol to clean inside the tube.
  • How long will the hinge last?
1000’s of opening and closings. I’ve been using one daily for a year. Still working great!
  • Where is the bat imported from?
India. The BudHub and Cleaning Cane are made in the Midwest, USA.
